Cloud Reselling
Your cloud bill, resold by people who answer the phone.
Samax resells your AWS, GCP (Google Cloud) or OCI account: same infrastructure, same provider. What changes is who issues the invoice, how long you have to pay it, and who answers when something breaks — no migration, nothing changes in what's already running.
The two reasons to switch resellers
In this order — it's the order that actually decides, not the most obvious one.
Someone who answers when something breaks
The most common reason to switch cloud resellers isn't price — it's support. Whoever is looking for another option has already opened a ticket and waited for an answer that never came. Samax resells your bill with a direct contact, no call center in between.
Fifteen extra days to pay
Cloud invoices usually come due around the 5th. With Samax, the due date moves to the 20th — fifteen extra days on the biggest IT bill of the month.
What changes
The switch happens in the reselling. The cloud you already use stays exactly the same.
| What to look at | Today | With Samax |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud provider | AWS, GCP or OCI | The same |
| Infrastructure and architecture | Whatever you already have | The same — nothing migrates |
| Who issues the invoice | Your current reseller | Samax |
| Due date | Around the 5th | The 20th |
| Support | Call center | Direct contact |

What this is not
We'd rather say this before you ask.
- It's not a pre-purchase of cloud capacity. Some resellers buy capacity from the provider before selling it, betting their own cash on the expectation that you'll use it. Samax doesn't do that: it resells under the contract you already have, without taking on risk in your name.
- It's not new infrastructure. AWS stays AWS, GCP stays GCP, OCI stays OCI. Nothing migrates, nothing changes in architecture — only the invoice and the support.
- It doesn't replace Samax's operation inside your team — DevOps and FinOps engineers handling infrastructure and cost day to day. If what's missing is cutting waste, not just paying less, that's a different conversation. See Plans and Pricing
Who decides this is whoever signs the invoice
It's whoever signs the cloud invoice — often finance. Size and industry don't matter: a cloud bill is the same kind of account in any company. We work with invoices from a few hundred reais a month up to accounts above R$ 100k.
Frequently asked questions
What is Samax's cloud reselling (billing)?
Samax becomes the reseller of your AWS, GCP or OCI account: the invoice starts coming from Samax, with a longer payment term and a direct contact for when something breaks. The infrastructure, the provider and the architecture stay the same — what changes is who issues the invoice and who provides support.
Do I need to migrate my infrastructure to switch resellers?
No. Switching resellers doesn't involve a technical migration: you stay on the same account, with the same resources, on the same provider. What changes is the invoice and the support.
Does switching resellers cost anything?
No. There is no switching fee and no setup charge: Samax starts issuing the invoice in place of your current reseller, and what you pay is still your cloud usage.
Does it work for AWS, GCP and OCI?
Yes, we currently resell AWS, GCP and OCI. Terms vary by provider and by volume — we ask about your specific case in conversation.
My company is small, do you still take it on?
Yes. Unlike Samax's operation embedded in the client's team, cloud reselling has no invoice floor — we work with accounts from a few hundred reais a month.
Is this the same as buying reserved capacity from another reseller?
No. Samax doesn't buy capacity in advance or take on risk over your usage — it resells your invoice under the contract you already have with the provider.
Switch resellers without switching clouds
Bring your current invoice to the conversation: we'll look at the terms for your case and the new payment date before any commitment.
