What does it cost to runcloud in Brazil?

Radar da Nuvem is Samax's research on how much Brazilian companies spend on cloud — and why that cost slips out of control. Methodology and results are open at radardanuvem.com.br.

What it is

Radar da Nuvem is a Samax research initiative. It investigates a problem most Brazilian companies solve in the dark: how much it costs to run cloud infrastructure, and why that cost slips out of control.

The research has two roles. It generates market knowledge for CTOs and IT leaders who need this data to benchmark their own operation — and it sustains a community of people dealing with the same problem, inside and outside Samax.

The full study, with methodology and results, lives at radardanuvem.com.br. This page is its home inside the Samax site.

Cloud comparator

The practical side of Radar da Nuvem.

Radar da Nuvem also includes a price comparator across AWS, Azure and GCP: you tell it what you need — instance, service, region — and it shows the equivalent cost across all three providers, side by side. It's a quick way to check whether what you pay today is in line with the market, before any sales conversation.

Cloud Sessions

The in-person side of Radar da Nuvem.

Every two months, up to 20 CTOs meet at Distrito for a closed-door roundtable on what is driving up cloud cost for each of them. It is not a talk — it is an exchange between people who operate. Upcoming dates are announced on Radar da Nuvem and on Samax's LinkedIn.
