About
We are not a vendor. We are part of your team.
DevOps engineers (who keep the infrastructure running) and FinOps engineers (who manage what it costs) working inside the routine of companies that use cloud without a senior team to run it. The practice is certified by the FinOps Foundation — a credential still few hold in Brazil.
How we operate
We don't run a diagnostic and leave.
A senior Samax FinOps or DevOps professional takes on real routines inside the client's team: they decide, apply and follow the change through alongside the client's engineering.
That changes what experience is worth. What a Samax engineer solves by hand for one client becomes, for the next one, a rule in the platform and in the agent that watches the account — the list of what to automate comes from what the team actually did, not from a roadmap. That's why the result doesn't run out after the first cost cut: with every client, more of the work already arrives done.
If you want to compare this with one-off consulting, FinOps tooling or an in-house team, see the four paths, side by side.
Who is behind the operation
Lucio Cordeiro
CEO and Co-Founder
Certified by the FinOps Foundation, the international body that defines FinOps practice — a rare credential in Brazil: today, around 30 professionals in the country hold this certification.
LinkedInGuilherme Dias
CTO and Co-Founder
Engineer trained at ITA — Brazil's Aeronautics Institute of Technology — with a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence. That background shapes Samax's AI layer: the one that spots waste and prioritizes what to tackle, while engineers inside the client's team apply and follow through on each change.
LinkedInRafael Calixto
COO and Co-Founder
Second-time founder: he founded Scalable and raised R$ 20M to expand credit for SaaS companies. At Samax he runs the entire operation and sets the strategic direction for client service and value delivery.

The initial diagnostic connects your accounts in read-only mode, shows where the biggest waste is and points to the next step — even when the next step is not hiring us.
